Snapchat launches stories search

KRSP - Snap

New feature alert

Snapchat recently launched a new feature that will allow its users to search over one million unique Stories. This will definitely open up a new dimension into the platform. It could allow users to discover content in near real-time and about almost anything.

Many thought Snapchat would go the way of Vine after Instagram launched its “stories” feature, but others like Vayner Media CEO Gary Vaynerchuk believe its still fertile ground for the next generation.

Here is a snippet from Snap Inc. about this new feature:

We’ve built a new way to understand what’s happening in Snaps that are submitted to Our Story, and to create new Stories using advanced machine learning. The results have been amazing: you can search over one million unique Stories on Snapchat!
